2016

Francisco de Vitoria University is located near the Monte de El Pardo, in a village with different species of trees among which oaks and pines environment, and it seemed appropriate to maintain the larger specimens and establish some integration between the university and space natural.

Asphalt surfaces intended for vehicle parking often assume a tabula rasa, with minimal means, permanently removes any trace of the preconditions.

This time the distribution of parking spaces is optimized to maintain existing trees and the spaces occupied by them, which can be neither square nor road, to plot a network of pedestrian walkways from the parking lot to the university take advantage . These paths vary in size depending on the estimated flow of passersby, setting a new tree structure.

The squares are marked by circles of different sizes and colors intended to ward off the generic nature of this type of non-places to bring a new image linking him to its location in a natural environment.
